Company Profile:
HELIOTRON ENERGY SA was founded in 2002 by Mr. Alexandros Papadopoulos who is an Engineer with many years of experience in energy projects gained through his previous occupation as Director of the Utility Development Dept. of SIEMENS.
Our team consists of highly experienced scientist and engineers that cooperate in order to offer turn-key solutions for our PV installation projects and develop innovative solar energy systems.
Our R&D has developed a Solar Trigeneration Technology System for the simultaneous production of electrical, thermal and cooling power named PROTEAS.
PROTEAS achieves:
- More efficient harvesting of solar energy than common PV systems.
- Potential to cover the total house energy demand day and night.
- Self-financing if installed by Utilities.
Profiltitel

Solar Energy Technology Development and Exploitation

What we offer:
We manage over 100MWp of PV projects and develop innovative solar energy systems.

A Solar Trigeneration Technology for the simultaneous production of electrical, thermal and cooling power named PROTEAS has been developed under three R&D programs (about 4,6 mio €) that resulted in an industrial prototype in 2009/2010.

PROTEAS makes use of patented total reflection reflectors that concentrate the incident light on the PV cells up to 1000 Suns, which are cooled by 90 deg. water driving an ammonia heat pump for the production and storage of cooling energy.

The benefits of PROTEAS are:
- More efficient harvesting of solar energy than common pv systems.
- The total house energy demand can be completely covered day and night.
- PROTEAS is self financed if installed by Utilities.

What are we looking for:
Companies to co-finance the development of a Pilot Line and/or the production and commercialization for the PROTEAS Trigeneration System.

Photovoltaic Module Suppliers and Investors for over 100MW of photovoltaic projects that we manage.
